Today’s event was dedicated to the question of how Hamburg can win the Olympic Games. MLOVE as curator and organizer invited 25 teenagers aged 10 to 18 years old to dialogue with 5 company representatives. The Future City Campus is a container structure full of ideas, suggestions and the opportunity to reflect on future technological and social developments in a secure and innovative format.

John Baekelmans, CTO of Cisco was the headline speaker of the day. He flew in extra from San Francisco for the day to explain his passionate support for the Olympic Games that he helped build up for a few years for London 2012. The teen participants were inspiered and engaged in great discussions with John and in the workshops.
The teenagers were very impressed as the founder of MLOVE, Harald Neidhardt, in his inspiring speech “Future Vision – How we live in 10 years”, has shown the technological future with its opportunities and risks. He took the audience on an emotional journey and put the iPhone as a 20 contact list before, questioned the educational opportunities of the future and how we can monitor and control these developments as a society.
Additional speakers were Andreas Kusch, CEO of Avodaq and Bastian Schäfer, Innovation Manager at Airbus plus Daniel Kusch (18) who summed up the Olympic sustainability endeavor for future Olympic cities. Additional workshop leaders were Mirko Bass of Cisco, Dr. Caroline Werkmeister, of UKE talking about smart health and Benjamin Scharfenberger from HPA Hamburg Port Authority brainstorming about smart ports & smart cities.
